Frequently Asked Questions
Is the XCWIIE 301L easy to install?
The 301L includes mounting hardware, an illustrated installation manual and a step-by-step video guide. Installation difficulty may vary depending on your ceiling height, electrical box and wiring experience. Always turn off power at the circuit breaker and use a ceiling box rated for fan support. If you are not comfortable working with electrical wiring, hire a licensed electrician.
Can the XCWIIE 301L be installed on a sloped ceiling?
Yes. The 301L can be installed on compatible sloped ceilings up to 15°. Make sure the ceiling box is rated for fan support and select a downrod appropriate for your ceiling height. For ceilings steeper than 15°, contact XCWIIE Support before installation.
Does the 301L light have a memory function?
Yes. The 301L supports light memory with compatible control methods, allowing the integrated LED to return to the last-used brightness and color temperature. Memory behavior may vary if power is completely disconnected at the wall switch.
Is the XCWIIE 301L compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant?
Yes. The 301L supports remote, mobile app and voice control. After connecting the fan to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network through the compatible app, you can link it with Alexa or Google Assistant to control supported fan and light functions. The included remote can be used without Wi-Fi.
Can the XCWIIE 301L be installed outdoors?
No. The 301L is designed for indoor, dry-location use only. Do not install it in covered patios, porches, gazebos or other locations exposed to moisture, condensation or rain. For outdoor installation, choose an XCWIIE model specifically rated for outdoor use, such as the 705 or 802.
How should I clean the 301L solid wood blades?
Turn off the fan and wait until the blades have completely stopped. Support each blade gently and wipe it with a soft, clean, dry microfiber cloth. Do not spray water or cleaning products directly onto the wood, and avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents or excessive moisture, as they may damage the finish or natural wood.

This is a very nice fan! We bought two for our lanai. The fans were easy to put together and just as easy to hang. We are happy we can download an app so we can operate it while outside. When installing the fan, our light cover broke. The manufacturer is replacing the cover free of charge.

Fan is a beauty! Purchased a 70” for living room. Looks fantastic, great airflow. Although a lot of pieces, my husband said just read your instructions, follow them and it goes up easily! Comes with an extender but didn’t need it in our 9ft ceilings. We love the remote and that you can install the holder close to your light switch. The 3-way light is nice also. It’s quiet and no shaking when you put it at its highest! We love this fan and purchased a 2nd for our bedroom. Will purchase 3 more for other bedrooms and screened porch area.

This ceiling fan is absolutely stunning and looks like it was custom-made for my 174 sq ft gazebo. I actually bought the fan before construction was complete and asked my contractor to match the ceiling color to the fan blades—it turned out beautifully. The solid wood blades have a rich, natural finish that adds elegance and warmth to the space.Functionally, it performs just as well as it looks. I love that I can easily change the fan speed using the remote or app. At the highest speed, it provides excellent air circulation throughout the gazebo, keeping the area cool and comfortable without being overpowering. Best of all, it’s impressively quiet—even at full speed, there’s hardly any noise.Installation was handled by my contractor, but everything went smoothly and quickly. The build quality feels solid, and I really appreciate the included downrod options for different ceiling heights.Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with this fan. It’s stylish, efficient, and perfect for my outdoor use. Highly recommended!

Great looking and quiet operation. It does move plenty of air. I was replacing a fan that had two switches. One for the light and one for the fan. This fan only used one line and you will need to control all operations with the remote and or app. I used the included 24” down-rod . If you do need or want a longer down-rod you will need to to get extension wires for the fan as they are only long enough for the included 24” down-rod.The install is fairly straightforward. The included instructions for the app were incomplete. It says to use the Tuya app but that was the extent of the instructions. You open the app and it has four different ceiling fan types. No where in the instructions does it say which one to select. The correct one is BLE+WIFI. The app gives instructions to get the fan in pairing mode which do not work. Only after contacting the seller did I know that pressing the 8hr button on the remote and holding it until it beeps would put the fan in pairing mode. These instructions were not included in the box for some reason which was frustrating. The led light is nice. The adjusted hue will stay as the default hue which is nice. It is also pretty bright. The dimming can be controlled through the remote or the app. To dim using the remote you just need to hold down the light button. Many reports say only through the app but that is incorrect.

Makes no noises and does not rattle. Perfect fan!! I used the shorter length.

These are my favorite ceiling fans. The solid wood blades are beautiful and don’t loose shape and/or warp in the humid conditions. Easy to install, quiet with remote control adjustable fan speed and light brightness. Which all work great.
C
This fan is unbelievable. With three fan blades and number 2 out of 6 speeds, it's still a little chilly. The light has a few settings, and the brightest pretty much blinds us. It's what my bedroom needed. You don't even know it's turned on; that's how quiet it is. You really need to take a look at all the options it has. Plus, it connects to Alexa or Google Assistant

5-Star ReviewGreat product and excellent customer service. The ceiling fan arrived with an issue, but after I contacted the seller, they quickly sent a replacement fan at no extra cost. The new fan works well, looks good, and I am very satisfied with the purchase. The product quality is good, and the after-sales service was very helpful and professional. Highly recommend!
E
Super happy with this fan. Great wind output, assembly was fairly easy and looks good.
S
Just installed it today and put it through its paces. Lots of wind, super quiet even at top speed. And there is absolutely no wobble!I like that it can also be controlled from your phone, too.The only negative was that the installation instructions are not very good, so I felt like I had to solve a few puzzles. But once installed ,the fan is so good that I can't take a star off because of the instructions.
D
Great fan, quiet but moves a lot of air. Multiple rod options. The wood looked like the picture, so it matched the color I expected. The brightness is good as well. I have received a number of compliments on how the fan looks as well.
