Yes. The XCWIIE 705 is wet-rated for covered and exposed outdoor locations, including spaces that may receive direct rain. Its sealed DC motor and UV-coated ABS blades are designed for patios, porches, gazebos and other outdoor living areas exposed to moisture and changing weather. The fan is not designed for submersion or pressure washing. Always follow the installation manual and local electrical codes.

Is a 56" ceiling fan suitable for a patio, gazebo, or garage?

Yes. The 56-inch XCWIIE 705 delivers up to 7495 CFM of airflow and is generally suitable for spaces of approximately 225–400 sq. ft., including patios, gazebos, porches, garages, workshops and large indoor rooms. Actual coverage may vary depending on ceiling height, room layout and how open the space is.

Does the XCWIIE 705 work with Alexa and Google Assistant?

Yes. The smart-control version of the XCWIIE 705 supports remote, mobile app, Alexa and Google Assistant control. A 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network is required for initial app and voice-assistant setup. The included handheld remote can still control the fan and light without Wi-Fi. Remote-only versions do not support app or voice control.

Can the LED light be dimmed and changed to different color temperatures?

Yes. The integrated 24W LED supports 10%–100% brightness adjustment and three selectable color temperatures: 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white and 5000K cool white. The light memory function can recall the last-used brightness and color temperature when the light is turned off using a supported control method. Memory behavior may vary if wall power is completely disconnected.

What installation accessories and warranty are included with the XCWIIE 705?

The XCWIIE 705 includes 6-inch, 12-inch and 24-inch downrods, a handheld remote, an installation manual and access to a step-by-step video guide. It supports flat and sloped-ceiling installation. If the ceiling canopy may be exposed to splashing or wind-driven rain, the ceiling angle must not exceed 15°. If the canopy is fully protected from rain, the maximum supported ceiling angle is 23°. Always use a fan-rated ceiling electrical box and follow the installation manual.
